As mentioned previously, the original R Elevator Horn supplied in the kit was faulty, the powder coating lifting in several places. Vans dispatched FOC a new one, which winged its way across USA and the Atlantic in 3 days, only to become lost in LHR customs. That was 2 weeks ago, and still no sign of it escaping and no means to track it down.

So I decided to pay for another one, since I really need it to get on and finish the elevators. Vans shipped one to a hotel in Miami where I’m staying for a night. Happy days, I’ve actually got it in my sticky mitts, and I’ll escort this one personally through customs at LHR!!

It’ll be interesting to see if the other one ever turns up …. will keep you posted : )
