Access much easier for the 470 rivets that are left once you can lay the structure flat. Van’s specified AD4-6 for the 6 rivets that attach the inside ribs to the rear spar, but they just seemed too short. AD-7 were too long, so I filed down -7’s to make -6.5’s, and it seemed to work just fine.
The 10 470’s attaching the inside nose ribs/inside ribs needed a Double Offset 1/8 Rivet Set to gain a straight access onto the manufactured heads.
That’s it, all done! Now placed up on the rafters for safe keeping : )
