Collected a DRDT 2 Dimpler from Aircraft Spruce whilst I was in Los Angeles on a work trip.
Just fitted in a large suitcase, but is a monster and weighed a lot! Good job I was in charge of the plane on the way home : )
Here she is, a DRDT 2. Everyone seems to think this is the easiest tool for dimpling the skins. Since there are a LOT of dimples I thought it was probably worth investing in one.
I bought the Vans suggested tools from Cleaveland Tools in USA. They have proved very helpful indeed, I cannot recommend them enough. They do a tool kit, and include several items specific to the RV14. You can easily fine tune the order, as I did since I had already bought a dimpler.
Not a very big pile of tools considering how much they cost!
