Step 3 asks you to remove the aft flange, but not the flange radius, from the W-1012 Outboard Wing Ribs. I couldn’t work out how to saw them off, so I used a Dremel cutting disc. This tool needs to be held firmly to prevent unwanted cuts! Ask me how I know … as I started I thought the last thing I need is for the disc to slip and cut the little flange tab, so sure enough, the first thing I did was to let it skate and nick the little tab : (

Only a little nick, easily blended out, but it taught me to hold on tight to this dynamic tool! After that first trauma everything worked just fine, and after cutting off oversize I filed down to the radius as instructed.
